Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá dramatickými technikami s cílem zlepšit u studentů znalosti anglického jazyka, a to praktickým způsobem. Práce je zacílena na maturitní třídy českých studentů a zkoumá téma ztroskotání a izolace na základě inspirace románem Daniela Defoe “Robinson Crusoe” a filmem “Trosečník”. Teoretická část se věnuje porozumění procesu učení podle Marešova schématu, studiu zvoleného studenta – adolescenta, percepčním preferencím, dominanci mozkových hemisfér, typům inteligence, učebním stylům a strategiím. Dále představuje drama jako zvolenou techniku v rámci ELT, důvody, proč využít pro tuto metodologii a jak žáky motivuje, význam rolí, rámcové téma, význam literatury v osnovách, ale i multimédií, a na závěr roli učitele. Praktická část je zaměřena na konkrétní výukové plány vytvořené autorkou na bázi zmíněného rámcového tématu využívající dramatické techniky za účelem dosažení stanovených cílů.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with drama techniques with an aim to improve students´ knowledge of English in a practical way. It is targeted at A-level Czech students and explores the topic of being stranded and isolated with an inspiration of Daniel Defoe´s novel “The Life and Strange Surprising Adventures of Robinson Crusoe, of York“, and the film “The Castaway“. The theoretical part dedicates to an understanding of the learning process following Mareš´s scheme, to an understanding of the chosen student – adolescent, to perception preferences, hemisphere dominance, intelligence types, and learning styles and strategies. It further introduces drama as the selected technique in the concept of English Language Teaching (ELT), the reasons why use this methodology and how it motivates learners, the meaning of roles, the framework theme, the importance of literature in the curriculum but also the use of multimedia, and lastly the teacher´s role. The practical part is focused on particular lesson plans created by the author on the basis of the mentioned framework theme using drama techniques to achieve the goals.
