Diplomová práce pojednává o koncertantní skladbě Bohuslava Martinů z roku 1937, která má název Duo Concertant pro dvoje housle a orchestr H. 264. Práce se soustředí především na Duo, avšak je obohacena také o stručný životopis, který mapuje důležité roky života tohoto významného českého skladatele. Práce má tři hlavní části. The diploma thesis deals with a concert composition by Bohuslav Martinů from 1937, which is called Duo Concertant for two violins and orchestra H. 264. The work focuses mainly on the Duo, but is also enriched with a brief biography that maps important years of life of this important Czech composer.The work has three main parts.
