Burn Out Syndrome Prevention of Employees in Low-treshold Facilities for Children and Youth

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem prevence syndromu vyhoření v kontextu sociální služby nízkoprahových zařízení pro děti a mládež. V teoretické části definuje obecná teoretická východiska syndromu vyhoření, jeho příznaky, fáze a důsledky pro jednotlivce. Popisuje obecně uváděné metody prevence vzniku syndromu vyhoření a uceluje pohled na sociální službu nízkoprahového zařízení pro děti a mládež, jak z pohledu legislativy a pracovních charakteristik služby, tak z pohledu specifik cílové skupiny děti a mládež a použitelnosti obecných preventivních metod. V praktické části pak na základě kvalitativního výzkumu provedeného formou rozhovorů rozvádí vnímání efektivity preventivních metod při řešení syndromu vyhoření u zkušených pracovníků těchto služeb v oblasti NUTS II JV, které používají, nebo jsou jim nabízeny ze strany organizace.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with burnout syndrome in the context of a social service namely low-threshold facility for children and youth. In the theoretical part it defines general theoretical basis of burnout syndrome, its symptoms, phases and impacts on individuals. It describes generally presented methods of burnout syndrome prevention and unites the idea of a low-threshold facility for children and youth both in the view of legislation and working characteristics of the service and in the view of target group specifics and applicability of general preventive methods. On the basis of qualitative research accomplished by interviews the theoretical part concerns of perception of preventive methods efficiency for experienced social workers in the region of NUTS II JV. It also describes methods which they use or methods which are offered by an organization.
