Organizational justice, work motivation and their relationship to the corporate competitiveness.

Abstract:

Cílem předkládané práce je na zkoumaném vzorku podniků prokázat, že spravedlivé pracovní prostředí souvisí s pracovní motivací zaměstnanců a že pracovní motivace je jedním z faktorů výkonnosti podniku. Předpokladem práce je, že pokud zaměstnanci vnímají podnikové prostředí jako spravedlivé, mělo by je to motivovat k vyšším výkonům a k chování přesahujícím formální náplň jejich pracovní pozice, což by mělo přispět k výkonnosti podniku. K prokázání vztahu mezi pracovní motivací a organizační spravedlnosti byly použity tři metody: korelační analýza, klasický regresní model a hierarchické lineární modelování. Výsledky potvrzují existenci pozitivního vztahu mezi proměnnými. Platí tedy, že při zvyšující se úrovni organizační spravedlnosti se zvyšuje i míra pracovní motivace. K ověření existence vztahu mezi pracovní motivací zaměstnanců a výkonností podniku, byla použita korelační analýza. Pozitivní vztah mezi pracovní motivací a jednotlivými ukazateli výkonnosti podniku byl také na daném vzorku prokázán.

Abstract:

The aim of this dissertation is to prove that fair working environment has an impact on the motivation of employees, and that work motivation is one of the factors of competitiveness. The assumption is that when employees perceive the organization environment as fair, they should be motivated to higher performance and to the behaviour exceeding formal scope of their job, which should contribute to organization's performance. To prove the first hypothesis three methods were used: correlation analysis, classical regression model and hierarchical linear modelling. The results prove the existence of the positive relationship between the variables. It means that when the level of organizational justice increases, the level of work motivation rises as well. To prove the existence of the relationship between the work motivation and performance, the correlation analysis was used. Positive relationship between work motivation and particular indicators of performance was proven too on the given sample.
