Forms of expression and the implication of the actual financial crisis for the development of mortgage markets in the Czech republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku současné finanční krize a její souvislosti s vývojem českého hypotečního trhu. Teoretická část se specifikuje na formy finanční krize a na oblast hypotečních úvěrů. Pozornost se věnuje charakteristice finanční krize v globálních rozměrech a vymezením jejich obecných znaků. V oblasti hypotečního bankovnictví se zabývá klasifikací hypotečních úvěrů, úvěrovými procesy a kreditním rizikem, které je s úvěrovou činností úzce provázané. V praktické části analyzuje příčiny vzniku finanční krize, její průběh a vývoj hypotečních trhů v České republice od roku 1995 do února roku 2012.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the issue of current financial crisis in connection with development of the Czech mortgage market. The theoretical part specifies the forms of financial crisis and the mortgage loans. Attention was paid to the characteristics of the global financial crisis and to define their general characteristics. It is engaged with the classification of mortgage loans, credit processes and credit risk, which is closely intertwined to the credit activities of mortgage banking. In the practical part the thesis analyzed the causes of financial crisis, its progress and development of mortgage markets in the Czech Republic from 1995 to February 2012.
