Senior tourism in the Mar Menor area

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na seniorský cestovní ruch, konkrétněji seniorský cestovní ruch v oblasti Mar Menor. V práci jsou nejprve popsány znaky jak obecného, tak následně i seniorského cestovního ruchu. Následují specifické rozdělení a kategorie seniorského cestovního ruchu. V praktické části jsou nejdříve popsány cestovní kanceláře, které nabízejí dotované zájezdy pro seniory, následuje představení zkoumané oblasti Mar Menor, a také některá zajímavá místa. Nakonec byly vyhotoveny rozhovory s účastníky, kteří se zúčastnili dovolené na La Manze. Hlavním cílem této práce bylo porovnat nabídky cestovních kanceláří a zjistit atraktivnost dané oblasti. Na konci práce byly navrhnuty některá opatření, jak by se mohl zlepšit seniorský cestovní ruch.

Abstract:

This final degree project focuses on senior tourism, more specifically on senior tourism in the Mar Menor. The work first describes the characteristics of both general tourism and senior tourism. The following are specific divisions and categories of senior tourism. The practical part first describes the travel agencies that offer subsidized guided tours for the elderly, followed by a presentation of the Mar Menor area investigated, as well as some places of interest. Finally, interviews were conducted with participants who had participated in a vacation in La Manga. The main objective of this work was to compare the offers of travel agencies and learn about the attractions of the area. Some measures have been proposed to improve senior tourism.
