This bachelor's thesis deals with the identity analysis of the main character in the novel Les Désorientés by Amin Maalouf. The first part of the work describes the civil war in Lebanon, as the biggest milestone of the protagonist and the author. This novel is therefore loosely inspired by the author's youth. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá identitární analýzou hlavní postavy v románu Les Désorientés od Amina Maaloufa. V první části práce je vykreslena občanská válka v Libanonu jakožto největší životní milník protagonisty i autora. Tento román je tudíž volně inspirovaný autorovým mládím.
