Abstract:

KOMÁRKOVÁ, E. Auditorské postupy a metody při odhalování účetních podvodů. Bakalářská práce. Brno, 2022. Bakalářská práce se věnuje auditorským postupům a metodám při odhalování účetních podvodů. Literární přehled je zaměřen na pojem audit, cíl externího auditu při ověřování účetní závěrky, charakteristice účetních podvodů, a především metodám využívaným pro jejich odhalování. V analytické části práce jsou vybrané metody aplikované na reálná účetní data za účelem posouzení jejich vhodnosti při odhalování účetních podvodů. Pro komplexnost byl realizován řízený rozhovor s odborníkem z praxe, jehož cílem bylo zjistit jaké metody jsou v praxi využívány. V závěru práce jsou vyhodnoceny výsledky získané aplikací vybraných metod na účetní data a doporučení, která z nich pro vybranou účetní jednotku plynou. Rovněž jsou zhodnoceny vymezené auditorské postupy využívané při na odhalování podvodů. Jako vhodné metody lze označit interní audit, konfirmace od třetích stran a testy věcné správnosti.

The bachelor's thesis is dedicated to auditing procedures and methods for detecting accounting fraud. The literary review focuses on the concept of audit, the objective of external auditing in the verification of financial statements, the char-acteristics of accounting fraud, and, above all, the methods used to detect it. In the analytical part of the work, selected methods are applied to real ac-counting data to assess their suitability in detecting accounting fraud. For the sake of complexity, a controlled interview with a practitioner was carried out to find out what methods were being used in practice. At the end of the work, the results obtained by applying the selected methods to the accounting data and the recommendations that flow from them for the selected entity are evaluated. The defined audit procedures used to detect fraud are also assessed. Internal audit, third-party confirmations and substantive tests may be identified as appropriate methods.
