The assessment of the effect of continuous passive motion machine at the patients with osteoporosis after pertrochanteric fructure in acute stage of physical therapy

Abstract:

Tato odborná práce se zabývá hodnocením efektu motorové dynamické dlahy aplikované v rámci týdenního rehabilitačního programu u pacientů s osteoporózou po operaci pro pertrochanterickou zlomeninu femuru. Před zahájením RHB programu byli pacienti rozděleni do dvou souborů na: a) skupinu s aplikací motorové dlahy a b) skupinu bez aplikace motorové dlahy. U obou skupin byl hodnocen aktivní i pasivní rozsah pohybu v kyčelním kloubu, změny otoku, bolestivost operované dolní končetiny a soběstačnost pacientů. Statistickým vyhodnocením bylo prokázáno, že po ukončení týdenního rehabilitačního programu došlo ke statisticky významnému zlepšení všech vybraných parametrů v obou souborech pacientů. Současně s tím bylo prokázáno, že dosažené zlepšení všech hodnocených parametrů je ve skupině pacientů s aplikací motorové dlahy staticky významně vyšší, než u skupiny kontrolní.

Abstract:

This master thesis deals with the evaluation of the effect of motor dynamic splint applied within the 7-days rehabilitation program in patients with osteoporosis after surgery for pertrochanteric fracture of the femur. Before the start of the RHB program, patients were divided into two groups: a) group with a motor splint application, and b) group without a motor splint application. Active and passive range of motion in the hip joint, swelling changes, pain of the operated lower limb and self-sufficiency of patients were evaluated in both groups. Statistical evaluation showed that after completion of the one-week rehabilitation program, all the selected parameters in both groups of patients were significantly improved. At the same time, it was demonstrated that the achieved improvement of all evaluated parameters is significantly higher in the group of patients with the application of motor splint than in the control group.
