Management partnerships with suppliers

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá přístupem k managementu partnerství s dodavateli. Podstata managementu partnerství s dodavateli je objasněna v teoretické části, která se věnuje přínosům, které plynou z managementu partnerství s dodavateli ve všech podstatných souvislostech. Praktická část je zaměřena na přístup k managementu partnerství s dodavateli ve stavební společnosti STRABAG a.s. s využitím poznatků z teoretické části a vlastních dosavadních zkušeností autora, který je ve společnosti zaměstnán. V praktické části je dále přístup k managementu partnerství s dodavateli ve společnosti STRABAG a.s. porovnán s přístupem k managementu partnerství s dodavateli u konkurenční společnosti Metrostav a.s., která působí ve stejné lokalitě, oboru a z velké části se uchází o stejné stavební zakázky, jako společnost STRABAG a.s.. Na základě tohoto srovnání je provedeno vyhodnocení a návrh možných doporučení pro zlepšení přístupu k managementu partnerství s dodavateli, které zvyšuje výkonnost, konkurenceschopnost a upevňuje pozici na trhu společnosti STRABAG a.s. v České republice.

Abstract:

This thesis presents an approach to the management partnerships with suppliers. The substance of management partnerships with suppliers is explained in the theoretical part, which deals with benefits that arise from the management partnerships with suppliers in all essential respects. The practical part focuses in the approach to the management partnersihips in the construction company STRABAG Inc. using knowledge from the theoretical part and the experience of the author, who is employed in the company. Besides, in the theoretical part, the access to the management partnerships with suppliers in the company STRABAG Inc. is compared with the approach to management partnerships with suppliers in a competitive company Metrostav, which operates in the same area and field and largely competes for the same construction contracts as STRABAG Inc. does. Based on this comparison, there is submitted a draft of possible recommendations for improving the access to the management partnerships with suppliers, which would increase efficiency and competitiveness and strengthen the position of STRABAG Inc. in the building market in the Czech Republic.
