This bachelor thesis concerns the origin of the French Revolution. Moreover, it solves the consequences and the impact of the revolution on Portugal. In addition, is discussed the phenomenon Napoleon Bonaparte and how did his campaigns influence Portugal, especially what caused the presence of the Napoleonic troops in the Portuguese territory. Esta tese de licenciatura solve na sua primeira parte a origem da Revoluçao Francesa. Além disso, solve especialmente as consequencias e o impacto da revoluçao em Portugal.
