Psychological stress at the workplace in the profession of hospital attendant.

Abstract:

Úvod: Diplomová práce se zabývá psychickou pracovní zátěží u profese sanitář. Téma psychické zátěže je u zdravotnických profesí stále často opomíjenou a důležitou stránkou jejich profese a zdraví. Vědecké studie často popisují psychickou zátěž u různých zdravotnických profesí. Psychická zátěž u sanitářů je rovněž značná, a proto je třeba ji věnovat pozornost. V teoretické části práce je shrnuta problematika psychické pracovní zátěže spolu se syndromem vyhoření. Popsána je i samotná profese a náplň práce sanitáře. V závěru teoretické části se diplomová práce zabývá relaxačními metodami z hlediska osobního managementu předcházení psychické pracovní zátěži. V neposlední řadě dochází i ke zmínění činností, které by byly vhodné zavést na úrovni zaměstnavatele. V praktické části diplomové práce je realizované dotazníkové šetření, které zhodnocuje míru psychické pracovní zátěže ve sledovaném zdravotnickém zařízení. Cíl: Cílem diplomové práce je zhodnocení psychické pracovní zátěže u vybrané profesní skupiny sanitář v definovaném zdravotnickém zařízení pomocí dostupných dotazníkových metod. Metodika: Hodnocení psychické pracovní zátěže a syndromu vyhoření, se skládá ze dvou standardizovaných dotazníků. Součástí dotazníku jsou i demografické a doplňující vlastní otázky. Pomocí návodů vyhodnocení jednotlivých dotazníků dochází k určení stupně psychické zátěže a syndromu vyhoření. Výsledky zhodnocují jednotlivá zdravotnická oddělení i všechny sanitáře daného zdravotnického zařízení. Výsledky: Psychická pracovní zátěž často dosahuje hraničních hodnot mezi první a druhým stupněm zátěže. Některá oddělení se již nachází ve vyšších stupních zátěže. Syndromu vyhoření dosahuje vyšší míry u několika zdravotnických oddělení. Některá oddělení jsou již vyhořelá. Závěr: Psychická zátěž u zdravotnického personálu je velká, zejména v době onemocnění Covid-19. Je na místě tuto skutečnost mít na paměti, a proto je zapotřebí na to myslet jak z hlediska individuálního, tak z hlediska manažerského na úrovni jednotlivých zdravotnických zařízení. Na základě výsledků šetření jsou stanoveny návrhy a doporučení pro vrcholový management zdravotnických zařízení, vedoucí ke snížení ke snížení psychické zátěže sanitářů, ale i ostatního zdravotnického personálu.

Abstract:

Introduction: The final thesis deals with psychological working stress in the profession of hospital attendant. Theme of psychological stress is in the health professions still often neglected and important aspect of their profession and health. Scientific studies often describe psychological stress for various health professions. Psychological stress of hospital attendants is also considerable, and therefore is necessary pay attention to her, especially by naming the most common stressors. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes the issue of psychological workload together with burnout syndrome. The profession itself and the work of a hospital attendants are described. At the end of the theoretical part, the thesis deals with relaxation methods in terms of personal management to prevent psychological workload. Last but not least, it also mentions the activities that would be appropriate to implement at the employer level. In the practical part of the thesis, a questionnaire survey is conducted to assess the level of psychological workload in the monitored healthcare facility. Objective: The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the psychological workload of a selected professional group of orderlies in a defined health care facility using available questionnaire methods. Methodology: The assessment of psychological workload and burnout syndrome consists of two standardized questionnaires. The questionnaire includes demographic and supplementary self-administered questions. The evaluation instructions of each questionnaire are used to determine the degree of psychological strain and burnout syndrome. The results are evaluated by individual health departments and all hospital attendants of the health facility. Results: The mental workload often reaches the borderline between the first and second level of stress. Some wards are already in higher levels of stress. Burnout syndrome reaches higher rates in several health departments. Some departments are already burnt out. Conclusion: Psychological stress by medical staff is great, especially at the time of illness Covid-19. Is in place bearing in mind this fact, and therefore it is necessary to think about it both from an individual point of view and from a managerial point of view at the level of individual health facilities. Based on the results of the survey, proposals and recommendations for the top management of health care facilities are set out, leading to a reduction in the psychological burden of hospital attendants, as well as other medical staff.
