Mezenchymální stromální buňky (nebo mezenchymální kmenové buňky, dále MSC) jsou v současné době velmi zajímavým předmětem studia, obzvlášť díky jejich schopnosti podporovat regeneraci poškozených tkání a modulovat imunitní odpověď specificky v místě zranění nebo zánětu. Mesenchymal stromal cells (or mesenchymal stem cells, MSCs) are currently being intensely studied, mainly for the ability to promote regeneration of damaged tissues and regulate immune responses at the site of inflammation or injury.
