The Influence of Corporate Benefits on the Employees´ Living Standard in a Selected Company

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá otázkou vlivu firemních benefitů na životní standard zaměstnanců ve vybrané organizaci. Teoretická část práce je rozčleněna na tři hlavní kapitoly. První kapitola se zaměřuje na stěžejní oblast práce - životní standard, jeho indikátory a způsoby měření životní úrovně. Mimo jiné v této kapitole zmiňuji i důležitost osobního wellbeingu a balance mezi pracovním a soukromým životem. Následující kapitola objasňuje základní pojmy firemní kultury a řízení lidských zdrojů ve vztahu k životnímu standardu. Firemní benefity, obsaženy v kapitole třetí, jsou popsány jak v obecné rovině, tak pohledem vybrané organizace. Je zde nastíněna i problematika sponzoringu, CSR aktivit a objasnění legislativních změn vztahujících se ke zkoumané oblasti. Realizace praktické části diplomové práce probíhala formou kvantitativního výzkumného šetření za pomoci vytvořeného dotazníku, dotýkajícího se zmiňovaných oblastí. Dle získaných dat je odpovězeno na předem stanovené výzkumné otázky a cíle. Hlavním cílem této práce bylo zjistit, jaký mají vliv nastavené firemní benefity na životní standard zaměstnanců ve vybrané společnosti.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the question of the impact of company benefits on the standard of living of employees in a selected organization. The theoretical part of the thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter focuses on the core area of the thesis - the standard of living, its indicators and ways of measuring the standard of living. Among other things, this chapter mentions the importance of personal well-being and work-life balance. The following chapter explains the basic concepts of corporate culture and human resource management in relation to the standard of living. Corporate benefits, included in chapter three, are described both in general terms and through the lens of the selected organisation. The issues of sponsorship, CSR activities and clarification of legislative changes related to the area under study are also outlined. The practical part of the thesis was carried out in the form of a quantitative research survey using a questionnaire concerning the mentioned areas. According to the data obtained, the predetermined research questions and objectives are answered. The main objective of this thesis was to find out the effect of set corporate benefits on the living standards of employees in the selected company.
