Nagative impacts of mass tourism on a selected destination

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis "Negative impacts of mass tourism on a selected destination" focuses on the analysis of the current negative impacts of mass tourism on seaside destinations. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the current situation in the development of tourism in Mallorca and its impact on the environment with a focus on socio-cultural impacts. The bachelor thesis consists of three main parts. The first is the theoretical part, which explains the basic concepts related to the topic of the bachelor's thesis. This part focuses on both mass tourism and the impact of tourism on the environment. The second analytical part focuses on the analysis of the historical development as well as the current state of tourism in the destination of Mallorca with a narrow focus on the negative socio-cultural impacts of mass tourism. The proposal part, as the last part, is the output of the first two parts. In this part there are comprehensive results of the work paired with solutions to the situation.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca „Negatívne dopady masového cestovného ruchu na vybranú destináciu,“ sa zameriava na analýzu súčasných negatívnych dopadov masového cestovného ruchu na prímorské destinácie. Cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce je analyzovať súčasnú situáciu v rozvoji cestovného ruchu na Malorke a jej vplyv na životné prostredie so zameraním na socio-kultúrne dopady. Bakalárska práca pozostáva z troch hlavných častí. Prvou je teoretická časť, ktorá slúži na vysvetlenie základných pojmov súvisiacich s témou bakalárskej práce. Táto časť je zameraná ako na masový cestovný ruch, tak na dopady plynúce z cestovného ruchu na životné prostredie. Druhá analytická časť sa zameriava na analýzu historického vývoja ako aj aktuálneho stavu cestovného ruchu v destinácii Malorka s úzkym zameraním na negatívne socio-kultúrne dopady masového cestovného ruchu. Návrhová časť, ako posledná časť, je výstupom prvých dvoch častí. V tejto časti sú ucelené výsledky práce spolu s návrhmi na riešenie tejto problematiky.
