Water quality of the Ondřejnice River in the Oder Basin, Czech Republic, based on analyses of macrozoobenthos

Abstract:

Předmětem této bakalářské práce je zjistit jakost vody v řece Ondřejnici na základě rozboru makrozoobentosu. Řeka Ondřejnice je pravostranným přítokem řeky Odry, nejvýznamnějšího toku Severní Moravy a Slezska. Pramení v Beskydech v pohoří Ondřejník a do Odry ústí v chráněné krajinné oblasti Poodří. Místo vyústění je charakteristické širokou nivou. Řeka má v horní části bystřinný charakter s vysokým spádem, postupně se spád snižuje a převládá charakter nížinný. Proto i složení makrozoobentosu je v rámci toku různé. Odběr makrozoobentosu byl proveden 7.10.2010 na 4 lokalitách toku. Celkem bylo odebráno a determinováno 4 177 organismů, které byly zařazeny do 51 taxonů. Hlavními skupinami makrozoobentosu byly Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera, Trichoptera, Coleoptera, Oligochaeta, Diptera a Crustacea. Jakost vody jednotlivých lokalit ve třídách čistoty vody dle ČSN 75 7221 (1998) byla určena na základě výpočtu saprobního indexu. Horní část toku (lokalita 1 nad Kozlovicemi a lokalita 2 nad Hukvaldy) byla zařazena do I. třídy jakosti vody. Střední část toku (lokalita 3 mezi Fryčovicemi a Brušperkem) je ve II. stupni. U ústí na lokalitě 4 je voda III. třídy jakosti.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate water quality of the Ondřejnice River in the Oder River basin the basis of the analysis of a macrozoobenthos. The Ondřejnice River is the right-hand tributary of the Oder River, the most important water stream of the North Moravia and Silesia. Its spring is located on the Ondřejník Mt. In the Beskydy Mountains region. The Ondřejnice River discharges to the Oder River in Protected Landscape Area Poodří. The place of the river mouth is characterized by a wide water meadow. The upper stream of the river has a swift character, afterwards a gradient decreases gradually and the character is lowland. This is the reason why the composition of a macrozoobenthos varies depending on the part of the river. The sampling of macrozoobenthos was conducted on October 7, 2010, in four localities of the river. In sum, 4177 specimens from 51 taxa were sampled and determined. The main groups of macrozoobenthos were Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera, Trichoptera, Coleoptera, Oligochaeta, Diptera a Crustacea. The water quality of localities were defined by calculating of the saprobic index according to the Czech Standard. The upper stream was assigned to the first class of the water quality. Water quality of the lower middle river part belong to the IInd class and the mouthing waters to the IIIrd class.
