Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku udělení řidičského oprávnění a jeho držení, zejména ve vztahu k přestupkům a trestným činům proti bezpečnosti a plynulosti provozu na pozemních komunikacích. V úvodní části práce jsou popsány vnitrostátní právní úpravy, především pak změny v důsledku harmonizované úpravy oblasti řidičských průkazů v rámci Evropské unie.
