Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem vztahů mezi českým králem Přemyslem Otakarem II. a kláštery na území ovládaném v letech 1253-1278 tímto panovníkem. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První část se zabývá osobností Přemysla Otakara II. Druhá část se zabývá dobovým kontextem klášterů v českých zemích. Třetí část se zabývá vybranými kláštery řeholních řádů.
