The issue of the functional sentence perspective and its applications in the pupils´ work

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je věnována problematice aktuálního členění větného a jeho uplatnění v žákovských pracích. Je tvořena čtyřmi částmi. Teoretická část informuje o dosavadních jazykovědných koncepcích AČ, definuje pojmy výpověď, promluva a text v současných lingvistických disciplinách, popisuje výpověď z hlediska jejího dichotomického členění, klasifikuje činitele AČ, prostředky AČ a specifické postupy AČ. Druhá část stanovuje vybrané postupy, metody, kritéria, výchozí hypotézy a cíle práce. Třetí část provádí kvantitativní a kvalitativní analýzu žákovských prací dle stanovených kritérií v rámci AČ. V závěrečné části porovnáváme zjištěná data, snažíme se o utřídění a popis zjištěných jevů, které se nejčastěji vyskytují v žákovských pracích a nejvýrazněji ovlivňují kvalitu textů z pohledu textové syntaxe. Ověřujeme vstupní hypotézy a navrhujeme didaktická doporučení týkající se žákovské produkce textů.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is called "The issue of functional sentence perspective and its applications in the pupils' work" and is divided into four parts. The theoretical part informs about existing linguistic approaches to the functional sentence perspective (FSP), defines terms as enunciation, discourse and text in actual linguistic disciplines, describes the sentence from point of view of its theme and rheme arrangement, classifies the factors of the FSP, the formative force of FSP and the special advancement of the FSP. In the second part, we state selected methods, criteria, hypotheses and aims of the work. The third part is a practical chapter of quantitative and qualitative analyses of pupils' work according to the selected criteria within the FSP. In the final part of this work, we compare results of the analyses, classify and describe the phenomena, which have the biggest incidence in the pupils' work and the major influence on the quality of texts from point of view of syntax of text. We also verify if the hypotheses stated in the second part were confirmed or not, and consider the possible reasons of ascertained phenomena in the field of pupils' production of texts.
