Corporate culture in a selected organization

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na firemní kulturu, která představuje určitý charakter firmy, jež ovlivňuje myšlení a jednání pracovníků i celý chod firmy. Zabývá se také utvářením firemní kultury, kdy nejvýznamněji působí management organizace. Je zde objasněn i význam etiky v organizaci. Práce dále popisuje personální management a samotnou roli personálního útvaru. Všímá si motivace, rozvoje a vzdělávání pracovníků.Objasňuje pojem učící se organizace. Věnuje se řízení lidských zdrojů a také změně firemní kultury. V praktické části byl proveden výzkum pomocí kvantitativní metody dotazníku, zaměřený na spokojenost zaměstnanců vybrané organizace. Zabýval se také informovaností zaměstnanců o firemní strategii, firemní kultuře a hodnotách a cílech firmy.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to analyse corporate culture that determines the character of the company, which influences the thinking and behaviour of the staff and even the whole operation of the company. The thesis further discusses the formation of corporate culture and the management of the organization as the key element in this process. It also clarifies the importance of ethics in an organization, personnel management together with the role of the personnel department, and motivation, development and training of staff. The thesis then clarifies the concept of a learning organization, deals with human resources management and corporate culture change. Research conducted using quantitative method (questionnaires) is analysed in the practical part of the thesis. This research focuses on employee satisfaction of a selected organization. It also deals with the employees' awareness of the corporate strategy, corporate culture, and the values and goals of their company.
