Estimation of the parameters of some continuous distributions
Abstract:
In this bachelor's thesis we study the estimation of the parameters of some continuous distributions. The theoretical part describes selected probability distributions and parameter estimation methods. The implementation of these methods in R and their evaluation for each distribution separately is then presented in the practical part of this thesis.
Abstract:
V tejto bakalárskej práci sa venujeme odhadu parametrov vybraných spojitých rozdelení pravdepodobnosti. V teoretickej časti sú opísané vybrané rozdelenia pravdepodobnosti a vybrané metódy odhadu parametrov. V praktickej časti je potom uvedená implementácia týchto metód v R a ich vyhodnotenie pre každé rozdelenie zvlášť.
