The impact of contraceptives use on women health

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem antikoncepce a vliv na zdraví ženy. Je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část obsahuje význam slova antikoncepce, její historii a spolehlivost, stručný popis reprodukčního systému ženy, veškeré antikoncepční metody a jejich účinky. Praktická část má výzkumný charakter a jejím hlavním cílem bylo zjistit, jaký má vliv hormonální antikoncepce na zdraví ženy. Nejčastěji odpovídaly ženy ve věku 29-34 let. 20 žen užívalo hormonální antikoncepci po dobu 5-8 let. Celkem 74 % dotazovaných je spokojeno se svou antikoncepční metodou. Pro 85 % žen byly hormonální pilulky první volbou. Nejčastějším negativním účinkem hormonální antikoncepce bylo snížené libido a nejčastějším pozitivním účinkem byla snížená intenzita menstruačního krvácení. Ženy začínají s užíváním hormonální antikoncepce nejčastěji kvůli ochraně před otěhotněním a nejčastěji ji vysazují kvůli plánovanému těhotenství. Komplikace se vyskytly pouze u 2 žen ze 100, z nichž jedna měla komplikaci v podobě varixů a druhá v podobě tromboembolické nemoci. Všechna data jsou vyhodnocena a zanesena do grafů.

Abstract:

The presented bachelor thesis deals with the topic of contraception and its effect on women's health. It is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part contains the meaning of the word contraception, its history and reliability, a brief description of the reproductive system of a woman, all contraceptive methods and their effects. The practical part is of a research nature and its main aim was to find out the effect of hormonal contraception on a woman's health. The most frequent respondents were women aged 29-34 years. 20 women had been using hormonal contraceptives for 5-8 years. A total of 74% of the respondents were satisfied with their contraceptive method. For 85% of women, hormonal pills were the first choice. The most common negative effect of hormonal contraception was decreased libido and the most common positive effect was decreased intensity of menstrual bleeding. Women most often start hormonal contraceptives to protect themselves from pregnancy and most often discontinue them for planned pregnancy. Complications occurred in only 2 women out of 100, one of whom had a complication in the form of varicose veins and the other in the form of thromboembolic disease. All data are evaluated and charted.
