Secondary socialization of immigrant children at Czech kindergartens

Abstract:

Tato magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá sekundární socializací dětí s odlišným mateřským jazykem v českých mateřských školách. Cílem této práce bylo zjistit, jakým způsobem probíhá sekundární socializace dětí s odlišným mateřských jazykem pohledem učitelek z českých mateřských škol. Teoretická část této práce vymezuje terminologii a aktuální situaci ve spojitosti s dětmi s odlišným mateřským jazykem na českých mateřských školách. Text teoretické části se dále zaměřuje na vymezení sekundární socializace, spolu s podporou dětí s odlišným mateřským jazykem v mateřské škole a spoluprací a komunikací učitelek s jejich rodiči. Empirická část této práce se věnuje metodologii a prezentaci výsledků výzkumu. Získaná data prezentují pohled učitelek na odlišnosti a průběh sekundární socializace dětí s odlišným mateřským jazykem, společně se zaměřením na způsoby jejich podpory a na dopady spolupráce mezi učitelkami a rodiči.

Abstract:

This master's thesis deals with secondary socialization of immigrant children at Czech kindergartens. The aim of this thesis was to explore the secondary socialization of immigrant children at kindergartens from the perspective of teachers. Theoretical part focuses on terminology and current situation of immigrant children at Czech kindergartens. Text of theoretical part also focuses on definition of secondary socialization with the kinds of support of immigrant children at kindergartens and cooperation and comunication between teachers and their parents. Empirical part of this thesis deals with the methodology and presentation of the results of this study. Gained data present differences and processes of secondary socialization of immigrant children with the teachers strategies of support and the impact of cooperation between teachers and parents on secondary socialization of immigrant children, all from the perspective of teachers at Czech kindergartens.
