The new age terrorism in Europe

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá aktuální problematikou terorismu na Evropském kontinentu. Pojednává jednak o faktech této problematiky, jako je vysvětlení pojmu či rozbor forem terorismu. Mimo to se práce zabývá podmínkami a důsledky terorismu, ale také samotnými teroristickými organizacemi. V neposlední řadě jsou v práci rozebrány možnosti prevence a boje proti terorismu. Toto vše práce demonstruje na několika konkrétních útocích, jež se za poslední dobu v Evropě odehrály. Práce by tak měla poskytnout základní avšak ucelený a laikovi dostupný přehled v této problematice, jež je demonstrovaný na zvolených teroristických útocích.

Abstract:

The Thesis deals with the current issue of terrorism in Europe. It talks about facts of this probematic such as explanation of the concept or analysis of forms of terrorism. In addition, the work deals with the conditions and consequences of terrorism, but also the terrorist organizations themselves. Last but not least, the thesis deals with possibilities of prevention and fight against terrorism. All this is demonstrated in several concrete attacks that have taken place in Europe recently. The work should provide a basic but comprehensive and accessible overview of this issue, which is demonstrated in the selected terrorist attacks.
