Diplomová práce se zabývá dílem Podivuhodná cesta Nilse Holgerssona Švédskem spisovatelky Selmy Lagerlöfové a jeho překlady do češtiny. První část práce stručně rozebírá švédskou dětskou literaturu – počátky a vývoj jejího překladu. Pozornost je věnována životu Selmy Lagerlöfové a její literární tvorbě. The presented thesis examines the book Nils Holgerssons underbara resa genom Sverige by Selma Lagerlöf (in English published under the title Wonderful Adventures of Nils) and evaluates ist existing translations into Czech.
