Přestože teenageři statisticky tvoří většinu návštěvníků kin, filmy pro ně se v české filmové produkci posledních let vyskytují jen zcela zřídka. Bakalářská práce si klade za cíl definovat žánr teenage filmu v kontextu celosvětové kinematografie a zmapovat jeho produkci v české kinematografii od roku 1993, tedy od vzniku samostatné české kinematografie. Although teenagers statistically make up the majority of cinema-goers, films for them have been very rare in Czech film production in recent years. The Bachelor thesis aims to define the genre of teenage film in the context of global cinema and to map its production in Czech cinema since 1993, i.e. since the establishment of independent Czech cinema.
