Geography of summer recreation by the water based on data from the Institute of Health Information and Statistics of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá geografií letní rekreace u vody na základě dat Ústavu zdravotnických informací a statistiky České republiky. První část práce je věnována rozboru potřebné literatury. Popisuje pojmy geografie cestovního ruchu a rekreace, lokalizační a zejména realizační předpoklady cestovního ruchu, dále kategorizaci koupacích lokalit, popis jednotlivých ukazatelů jakosti vody a popis kontroly jakosti vody v České republice. Důležitým aspektem jsou i zdravotní rizika spojená s letní rekreací. Cílem práce je analyzovat koupací oblasti, a to jak z pohledu geografického, tak z pohledu turistického. Výsledkem této práce je zjištění, že se koupací vody nejvíce vyskytují v obcích do 1 000 obyvatel, v přírodě blízkém území a v méně zalidněných obcích. Území ORP, ve kterém se nejvíce vyskytují koupací vody je turisticky velmi atraktivní a stává se tak cílem pro rekreaci.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is aimed at geography of tourism and recreation based on data from Institute of Health Information and Statistics of the Czech Republic. The first part of thesis is devoted to the analysis of the necessary literature. This part describes the concepts of geography of tourism and recreation, localization and especially implementation assumptions of tourism, categorization of bathing areas, description of individual water quality and description of water quality control in the Czech Republic. The main goal of this work is to analyze bathing areas from a geographical point of view. The result of this bachelor thesis is the finding that bathing waters occur most in municipalities with less than 1 000 inhabitants, countryside and in less populated municipalities. The area of the ORP, in which bathing waters occur most often is very attractive for tourists and thus becomes a destination for recreation.
