Swiss winemaking development analysis

Abstract:

ŠTĚRBOVÁ, Lucie. Analýza vývoje vinařství ve Švýcarsku. [bakalářská práce]. Vysoká škola hotelová. Praha : 2014. s. 59. Cílem bakalářské práce je představit a ve stručnosti popsat specifika švýcarského vinařství, pokouší se přiblížit světově málo známou vinařskou oblast. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a analytickou. První část obsahuje teoretické informace získané z odborné literatury. V jednotlivých kapitolách najdeme popisy klimatických podmínek, vysvětlení pojmu terroir, charakteristiku hlavních a tradičních bílých i modrých odrůd a v závěru stručnou charakteristiku vinařských oblastí. Analytická část se zaměřuje na prozkoumání historického vývoje vinařství ve Švýcarsku a potvrzení či vyvrácení dvou tvrzení, že se zvyšuje podíl pěstění tradičních odrůd a roste spotřeba červeného vína, a celkového shrnutí a vyvození závěrů z průzkumu. V analytické části byly použity hlavně statistické materiály Ministerstva zemědělství.

ŠTĚRBOVÁ, Lucie: Swiss winemaking development analysis. [bachelor’s thesis]. Vysoká škola hotelová. Prague : 2014 . p.59. The bachelor’s thesis focuses swiss winemakery and its historical development. The first aim is to presentate this wine area in generally, because most of the people have a little awereness of it. The bachelor`s thesis has two parts, theoretical and analytical. The theoretical chapter describes climate condition of Switzerland, the word terroir-what does it mean in fact, grape varieties, the most popular and traditional grapes. At least there is a description of wine areas. The analytical chapter focuses on historical development of this area and two hypotheses. First one is „The cultivation of traditional grape varieties rises“ and the second one „The consum of red swiss wine is higher than of the white wine.“ At the end of the analytical chapter are summarized all obtained information and evaluation of the hypotheses. During the compilation of the bachelor’s thesis these sources were used: expert literature, the Internet, expert magazines, statistical evaluation of the Swiss Ministry of agriculture.
