Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá identitou nedoslýchavých a jejich přijetím do komunity Neslyšících. Vymezuje problematiku sluchově postižených, jejich komunikaci. V diplomové práci se lze dozvědět o vzdělávání a komunikaci nedoslýchavých, o integraci a vzdělávání nedoslýchavých na školách pro sluchově postižené. Zmíněna je i identita a specifika nedoslýchavých, postavení nedoslýchavého v majoritní společnosti a v komunitě Neslyšících. Následují informace o kultuře Neslyšících, o zvycích a tradicích Neslyšících. Empirická část práce je zaměřena na zjištění identity nedoslýchavých a jejich přijetí do komunity Neslyšících.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the identity of hard of hearing people and their acceptance into the Deaf community. It defines the issues of hearing impaired and their communication. In my thesis one can learn about the education and communication of hard of hearing people, about mainstreaming and about educating the hard of hearing at schools for the hearing impaired. The topics of identity and specifics of hard of hearing, their position in the hearing-majority society and in the community of the Deaf are also mentioned. Next there is information about Deaf culture and the customs and traditions of the Deaf. The research is focused on finding the identity of hard of hearing people and their acceptance into the Deaf community.
