What do we know about the world´s most frequently performed playwright? Czech adoption of Fernando Arrabal

Abstract:

In this bachelor thesis named What do we know about the world?s most frequently performed playwright ? Czech adoption of Fernando Arrabal we deal with introduction of Fernando Arrabal, his plays and the significance of this author. As a part of this work we carried out a survey in the Czech republic and Slovakia. For gathering the needed information we chose a questionaire method. We used two types of questionares ? type A and type B. Questionaire A was intended for the public and also for the future expert public (by expert public we mean the students of the music-and-drama field of the Janacek Conservatory in Ostrava). Questionaire B was sent to the theatres in Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Olomouc, Bratislava and Košice according to our choice. The aim of the first part of this thesis is to present the artist Fernando Arrabal and his production. The second chapter deals with the adoption of Arrabal in Czechoslovakia and the Czech republic and in the next part of this chapter we processed the results of the survey, which is focused on staging and responses to it, opinion of the audience and directors and the quantity, availability and quality of the translations.

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci s názvem Que sait-on sur le dramaturge mondialement le plus joué mondialement ? Réception tch?que de Fernando Arrabal se zabýváme Fernandem Arrabalem, jeho hrami a významem toho autora. Součástí naší práce je výzkum, který jsme realizovali na území České republiky a Slovenské republiky. Pro sběr potřebných informac? jsme zvolili dotazníkovou metodu. Použili jsme dva typy dotazníků ? dotazník A a dotazník B. Dotazník A byl určen pro širokou veřejnost a pro budoucí odbornou veřejnost (budoucí odbornou veřejností zde myslíme studenty hudebně-dramatického oboru Janáčkovy konzervatoře v Ostravě). Dotazník B byl rozeslán divadlům v Praze, Brně, Ostravě, Olomouci, Bratislavě a Košicích dle našeho výběru. Cílem první části této bakalářské práce je prezentovat umělce Fernanda Arrabala a jeho tvorbu. V druhé kapitole se věnujeme recepci Arrabala v Československu a České republice a v další části této kapitoly jsou zpracovány výsledky výzkumu zaměřeného na inscenace a ohlasy na ně, na názory diváků a režisérů, na množství, dostupnost a kvalitu překladů.
