Accounting view of horses in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je analýza oceňování, účtování a vykazování koní dle českých a mezinárodních účetních předpisů a následný průzkum řešení dané problematiky v několika účetních jednotkách zabývajících se chovem koní. Dále je zde uveden stručný popis, jak koně ovlivňovali naši civilizaci od prvního kontaktu člověka s koněm, historie chovu koní v České republice a využití koní v současnosti.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze the valuation, accounting and reporting of horses according to czech and international accounting regulations and a subsequent survey of the given issue in several accounting units dealing with horse breeding. Further is a brief description of how the horses influenced our civilization since the first contact of man with the horse, the history of horse breeding in the Czech Republic and the use of horses at present.
