Proper Names in Family Films – a Contrastive Analysis of Problems in Their Translation into Czech, Bulgarian and Serbian
Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou překladu vlastních jmen, která se vyskytují v rodinných filmech. Propria byla získána z následujících filmů: Shrek, Karlík a továrna na čokoládu, Alenka v říši divů, Ledové království a Tajný život mazlíčků. Hlavním cílem práce je porovnat varianty překladu proprií z angličtiny do češtiny, bulharštiny a srbštiny a poukázat tak na jejich shody a rozdíly.
Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the translation of proper names being found in family films. Proper names were taken from following films: Shrek, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Alice in Wonderland, Frozen and The Secret Life of Pets.
