The art theory of Wilhelm Worringer plays a significant role within the origins of early European pre-war avant-garde. This bachelor thesis aims to describe how were Worringer’s statements accepted within Czech young artistic generation, represented by members of avant-garde movements Osma and Skupina výtvarných umělců.
