Analysis of auxiliary drives consumption in electric train

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce má za cíl analyzovat chování pomocných elektrických zařízení vlaku, která jsou napájena převážně z pomocných měničů. Začátek práce je zaměřen na druhy pomocných spotřeb, které jsou nutné pro správnou funkci vozidla. Jsou zde primárně popsány z hlediska jejich důležitosti fungování pro vlak, ale také jejich vlastnosti a principy. Dále jsou vylíčeny provozní režimy, kde jsou popsány napájecí systémy, ale hlavně režimy jízda, brzda a aktivní odstavení. U režimu jízda jsou vysvětleny jednotlivé způsoby řízení vlaku, a u režimu brzda jsou popsány druhy brzd. Větší, praktická část práce se věnuje měření na skutečné elektrické jednotce při režimech stání a jízdy. Měření je rozděleno do dvou částí, kde jsou obě části měřeny při stejnosměrném napájení elektrické jednotky. První část je měřena za stání, a je zde pro každý vůz jednotlivě vyhodnocen výkon pomocného měniče, kde jsou zjišťovány poměry při vytápění. Ve druhé části jsou vyhodnoceny a diskutovány výkony pomocných měničů, které byly měřeny během jízdy a při vypnutém vytápění elektrické jednotky. Jsou zde také vyhodnoceny primární měniče, které přes stejnosměrnou síť zásobují energií pomocné měniče. Na závěr kapitoly, zabývající se měřením, je z naměřených hodnot spočítána elektrická spotřeba energie, ať už jednotlivých měničů, tak především dohromady všech pomocných zařízení elektrické jednotky v obou částech měření. V následující kapitole byly simulovány průběhy, které byly naměřeny v předchozí kapitole. Na konci práce je snaha vytipovat možnosti optimalizace spotřeby.

Abstract:

The presented master thesis aims to analyze the behavior of auxiliary electrical equipment of the train, which are powered mainly by auxiliary converters. The beginning of the work is focused on the types of auxiliary consumption that are necessary for the proper functioning of the vehicle. They are primarily described in terms of their importance of operation for the train, but also their properties and principles. Further the operating modes are described, where the power supply systems are first described, but mainly modes the drive, brake and active shutdown. In the drive mode, the individual ways of control the train are explained, and in the brake mode, the types of brakes are processed. The larger, practical part of the work is devoted to the measurement of the real electrical unit in the standing and drive modes. The measurement is divided into two parts, where both parts are measured with DC power supply of the electrical unit. The first part is measured at standstill, and the power of the converter is evaluated individually for each car, where the conditions during heating are detected. At the second part are detected and discussed power of the auxiliary converters, which were measured during drive mode and when the heating of the electrical unit was turned off. Primary converters that supply power to the auxiliary converters via the DC network are also detected here. At the end of the chapter, that deal with measurement, the electrical energy consumption is calculated, both of the individual converters and all the auxiliary devices of the electrical unit in both types of measurements. In the following chapter, the waveforms measured in the previous chapter were simulated. At the end of the work is an effort to identify the possibilities of optimizing consumption.
