Composition of a chapter for a secondary school textbook of chemistry

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá tvorbou učebního textu na vybrané téma z organické chemie. Daný text je určen učitelům chemie na středních školách a jejich studentům. Zvoleno bylo téma Alkoholy. Učební text byl strukturován podle doporučení současné didaktické literatury a obsahuje motivační pasáže, otázky k zamyšlení nad jednotlivými chemickými problémy a rovněž dostatek příkladů k procvičení. Vedle samotného učebního textu byla sepsána učitelská příručka na dané téma. Ta obsahuje další úlohy a cvičení, výběr zajímavých a didakticky vhodných pokusů. Dále zde učitelé naleznou i zajímavosti, které mohou využít při výuce. V rámci práce byl text předložen učitelům chemie a jejich žákům, kteří posléze vyjádřili svůj názor pomocí dotazníků. Práce obsahuje shrnutí odpovědí na dotazníky a jejich zhodnocení.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with creation of a study text on selected topic of organic chemistry intended for secondary school teachers and their students. The topic Alcohols was chosen. Study text was structured according to recommendations of current didactic literature and includes motivational passages, questions focused on individual chemical problems and also many exercises to practice. A teaching guide on the same topic was also written. It contains additional tasks and questions, selection of interesting and didactically suitable experiments. Teachers can find here also some interesting information, which they can use during their classes. The study text was presented to teachers of chemistry and their students, who then expressed their opinion by questionnaire. Thesis includes a summary of questionnaires and their evaluation.
