Organizational culture and supervision from the perspective of social workers in the Central Bohemian Region

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem supervize a kultury organizace ve vzájemném působení z pohledu sociálních pracovníků ve Středočeském kraji. Cílem práce je analýza aktuálního stavu v problematice kultury organizace a supervize. Zároveň je cílem práce identifikace faktorů ovlivňujících využití supervize jako nástroje k osobnímu a profesionálnímu rozvoji sociálních pracovníků, potažmo celé organizace v kontextu její kultury. Pro získání informací byl použit kvalitativní výzkum pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Výzkumná zjištění následně propojuji s teoretickými poznatky z literatury. V závěru práce hodnotím možnosti a limity supervize z hlediska sociálních pracovníků během výkonu jejich profese a vliv supervize na rozvoj organizace. V případě identifikace problémových oblastí navrhuji řešení.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of the supervision and the culture of the organization in the interaction from the point of view of social workers in the Central Bohemian Region. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the current situation in the issues of organizational culture and supervision. At the same time, the aim of the thesis is to identify the factors influencing the use of supervision as a tool for personal and professional development of social workers, the need of the whole organization in the context of its culture. Qualitative research using semi-structured interviews was used to obtain information. I then connect the research findings with theoretical knowledge from the literature. At the end of the thesis I evaluate the possibilities and limits of supervision from the point of view of social workers during the performance of their profession and the influence of supervision on the development of the organization. In case of identification of problem areas, I propose a solution.
