The main aim of this thesis is to introduce to the readerr the definition of gastronomy and to show him all the aspects of consumer food service in Ukraine beginning with the history of genesis of restaurant industry through the theoretical knowledges about its‘ forms focusing on commercial industry of food services and its‘ application in Ukraine providing the analysis of specifications of the market and consummers needs in Ukraine. Description of current situation trends and curiosities can be the contribution to the side of Czech republic from both the informative and inspiring side.
