Bakalářská práce se zabývá lidskou mitochondriální DNA. Nejprve jsou obecně charakterizovány mitochondrie a lidská mitochondriální DNA. Později se práce zaměřuje na využití mitochondriální DNA ke studiu evoluce lidstva a ve forenzní analýze. Další část tvoří mutace mitochondriální DNA a jimi podmíněná onemocnění. Abstract:
The bachelor thesis deals with human mitochondrial DNA. First, mitochondria and human mitochondrial DNA are generally characterized. Later the work focuses on the use of mitochondrial DNA to study human evolution and in forensic analysis.
