Accounting of Leasing in the Firm

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with the theoretical definition of leasing a particular form of asset financing company, accounting for operationg leases and finance leases, comparing national matter with international accounting leases and formulation of recommendations for the company. The first chapter is more focused on the theoretical and historical definition of leasing. Contains characteristics of the lease, depending on the development itself and its evolution. This chapter is divided according to the type do lease operating and finance leases. Also refines finance and operating leases. The second chapter defines the difference accounting for leases under national and international accounting standards, Characterized by the concept of accounting and describes its national and international developments. The second chapter also highlights the differences between credit and leasing and also compares the net present value of the loans and leases. The third chapter describes the studied company. Describes a SWOT analysis of the industry. A detail going through the whole process of financial accounting and operating leases in the selected company. It also covers the accounting treatment of the first installment to the last. The fourth chapter contains recommendations for the company in the area, as well as advice to make the right decisions for financing its current assets by leasing.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá teoretickým vymedzením lízingu ako osobitej formy financovania majetku firmy, účtovaním operatívneho lízingu a finančného lízingu, porovnaním národnej úpravy s medzinárodnou účtovania lízingu a formuláciou odporúčaní pre firmu. Prvá kapitola je podrobnejšie zameraná na teoretické a historické vymedzenie pojmu lízing. Obsahuje charakteristiku lízingu v závislosti od jeho samotného vývoja a jeho evolúcie. Táto kapitola člení lízingu podľa druhu na operatívny a finančný lízing. Tiež bližšie špecifikuje finančný a operatívny lízing. Druhá kapitola vymedzuje rozdiel účtovania lízingu podľa národných a medzinárodných účtovných noriem. Charakterizuje pojem účtovníctvo a popisuje jeho národný a medzinárodný vývoj. Druhá kapitola tiež poukazuje na rozdiely medzi úverom a lízingom a taktiež porovnáva čistú súčasnú hodnotu medzi úverom a lízingom. Tretia kapitola charakterizuje skúmanú firmu. Popisuje SWOT analýzu daného odvetvia. A podrobne prechádza celý proces účtovania finančného a operatívneho lízingu vo vybranej firme. Taktiež zahŕňa postup účtovania od prvej splátky až po poslednú. Štvrtá kapitola obsahuje odporúčania pre firmu v danej oblasti, tak ako aj rady pre správne rozhodovanie sa pri financovaní svojho dlhodobého majetku formou lízingu.
