Competitiveness of the selected enterprise

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je zhodnotit úroveň konkurenceschopnosti vybraného podniku s využitím metod a postupů strategického řízení a následně navrhnout doporučení vedoucí ke zlepšení úrovně konkurenceschopnosti vybraného podniku. Pro svou diplomovou práci jsem si vybrala podnik NEJ.cz. Diplomová práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou část. První část se zabývá základními pojmy konkurence, konkurenční výhoda, konkurenceschopnost a metodami k hodnocení konkurenceschopnosti. V druhé části diplomové práce bude provedena analýza vybraného podniku dle informací z první teoretické části. V diplomové práci jsem použila metody jako je PEST, analýza konkurence, analýza odvětví – Porterův model, analýza VRIO. Poslední použitou metodou v diplomové práci je SWOT, kde jsou shrnuty výsledky předchozích analýz. V závěru jsou navržena doporučení ke zvýšení konkurenceschopnosti firmy na trhu.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the level of competitiveness of the selected company using methods and procedures of strategic management and subsequently propose recommendations leading to an increase in the level of competitiveness of the selected company. I chose the company NEJ.cz for my diploma thesis. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical and a practical part. The first part deals with the basic concepts of competition, competitive advantage, competitiveness and methods for evaluating competitiveness. In the second part of the diploma thesis, an analysis of the selected company will be carried out according to the information from the first theoretical part. In my diploma thesis, I used methods such as PEST, competition analysis, industry analysis - Porter's model, VRIO analysis. The last method used in the thesis is SWOT, where the results of previous analyzes are summarized. At the end, recommendations are proposed to increase the competitiveness of the company on the market.
