Issues of Human Resources Management at the Police of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou řízení lidských zdrojů u Policie České republiky. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit a analyzovat názory vybraného vzorku policistů z řad začínajících policistů, služebních funkcionářů, personalisty a zkušených policistů k této problematice. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. Teoretická část je věnována vysvětlení základních pojmů vztahujících se k řešené problematice. Podstatou empirické části je kvalitativní výzkum. Metodou získávání dat je řízený rozhovor, prostřednictvím kterého jsou policisté, služební funkcionáři, personalistka působící u Policie České republiky dotazování k problematice řízení lidských zdrojů u organizace Policie České republiky. Diplomová práce může být přínosným a informační materiálem o problematice řízení lidských zdrojů v rámci organizace Policie České republiky, zejména v oblasti motivování, odměňování, ale také jako informační manuál pro začínající policisty a služební funkcionáře se zmíněnými nedostatky dle skutečných a nevyvratitelných názorů policistů.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the issue of human resources management in the Police of the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to find out and analyze the opinions of a selected sample of police officers from the ranks of aspiring police officers, service functionaries, HR and experienced police officers on this issue. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is devoted to the explanation of basic concepts related to the problem. The essence of the empirical part is qualitative research. The method of data acquisition is a guided interview, through which police officers, service functionaries, HR manager working in the Police of the Czech Republic are questioned on the issue of human resources management in the organization of the Police of the Czech Republic. The diploma thesis can be a useful and informative material on the issue of human resources management within the organization of the Police of the Czech Republic, especially in the area of motivation, remuneration, but also as an information manual for aspiring police officers and service officials with the mentioned shortcomings according to the real and irrefutable opinions of police officers.
