Possibilities of using music therapy elements in the lessons of musical education at the primary school

Abstract:

Závěrečná práce s názvem Možnosti využití prvků muzikoterapie v hodinách hudební výchovy na 1. stupni ZŠ se věnuje problematice vlivu hudby, hudebních prostředků a muzikoterapie na vzdělávání a vývoj žáků prvního stupně ZŠ. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou definovány pojmy hudba a muzikoterapie. Tato část práce popisuje vliv hudby na lidský mozek a vysvětluje působení hudby na kognitivní funkce jedince. Věnuje se vymezení pojmu muzikoterapie, shrnuje historii oboru muzikoterapie, přibližuje pojetí a přístupy k muzikoterapii v České republice. Dále se věnuje otázce rozdílu mezi hudbou, hudební výchovou a muzikoterapií. Přináší pohled na klasifikaci a metody muzikoterapie a na její možné využití v hodinách hudební výchovy na ZŠ. Pro záměr této práce je zde také charakterizován žák mladšího školního věku včetně specifik ve vnímání a funkci hudby v tomto vývojovém období. Cílem teoretické části je seznámit se základní fenomenologií oborů hudby a muzikoterapie a jejich vlivu na život člověka, zejména ve vztahu ke specifikům vývojového období mladšího školního věku. Praktická část této práce se věnuje konkrétnímu popisu jednotlivých muzikoterapeutických cvičení, inspirovaných během studií muzikoterapie a dalších uměleckých terapií i z vlastní tvorby autorky práce. Cílem praktické části práce je vytvoření souboru cvičení, jejich realizace a ověření v praxi a doporučení pro možné využití v hodinách hudební výchovy na 1. stupni ZŠ.

Abstract:

The final work with the title "Possibilities of using music therapy elements in the lessons of musical education at the primary school  / for the pupils from 6  - 10 years/ is dedicated to how music and musical therapy influence the pupils' development at the primary school. My diploma is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the terms of music and music therapy are defined. This part describes the influence of music on the human brain and explains the effect on individuals' cognitive function. My thesis is dedicated to the circumscription of the term musical therapy; it summarises the history of music therapy and is also describing the conception and approach to music therapy in the Czech Republic. Finally, the thesis is devoted to explaining the difference between music, musical education and music therapy. I also defined the classification and methods of music therapy and its possible application in musical lessons at the primary school. The diploma aims are to characterize the pupil /at the age of 5-6 / including the differences in perception and function of music in this developmental period. The theoretical part aims to get acquainted with the basic phenomenology of music and music therapy and their influence on human life, especially concerning the developmental period distinction. In the practical part of this work, I devoted myself to a concrete description of particular music therapeutic exercises, in which I was inspired during my studies of music therapy and other art therapies and my work. The practical part of my work is the formation of a set of exercises, their realization and verification in practical lessons and recommendation for possible use at music lessons at the primary school.
