This thesis deals with the European discourse of the French president Emmanuel Macron. It tries to link the discourse to ones of Robert Schuman and to the rhetoric of Charles de Gaulle. It leans on a theoretical basis that focuses on discourse analysis, specifically on critical discourse analysis and its branch of political discourse analysis.
