The Analysis the satisfaction of patients with age-related macular degeneration at a selected eye clinic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce zjišťuje spokojenost u pacientů s věkem podmíněnou makulární degenerací vybrané oční kliniky z pohledu poskytovaných služeb v rámci jejich anti-VEGF léčby. K provedení monitoringu byl zhotovený dotazník spokojenosti, který byl inspirovaný dimenzemi projektu Kvalita očima pacientů. Dotazník byl předložený pacientům při pravidelných návštěvách v den jejich léčby. Analýza byla provedena pomocí deskriptivní statistiky a kontingenčních tabulek. Z výsledných dat bylo zjištěno, že pacienti hodnotí poskytované služby s vysokou mírou spokojenosti, především oceňují přístup zdravotních sester, z dimenzí poté citovou oporu spolu s následnou péčí. Naopak menší nedostatky shledali s informovaností a s časem stráveným na klinice.

Abstract:

The bachelor’s thesis examines the satisfaction of patients with age-related macular degeneration at a selected eye clinic from the point of view of the services provided as part of their anti-VEGF treatment. To carry out the monitoring, a satisfaction questionnaire was conducted, which was inspired by the dimensions of the project Kvalita očima pacienta. The questionnaire was presented to the patients during regular visits on the day of their treatment. The analysis was performed using descriptive statistics and contingency tables. From the resulting data, it was found that patients evaluate the services provided with a high degree of satisfaction, they especially appreciate the approach of nurses, emotional support, and follow-up care. On the contrary, they found minor deficiencies with information and time spent at the clinic.
