The role of General Assembly of the UN in the fight against apartheid
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá režimem apartheidu v Jihoafrické republice a působením Organizace Spojených národů v rámci jeho rozkladu. Cílem práce je zhodnocení zásluh činnosti Valného shromáždění v boji za odstranění apartheidu. Zhodnocení je provedeno na základě analýzy rezolucí vydaných Valným shromážděním a historické deskripce okolností vedoucí k pádu režimu.
Abstract:
This thesis is focused on the regime of apartheid in South Africa and the action of the United Nations within the efforts of its dismantling. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the merits of General Assembly’s operations in the combat against apartheid.
