Abstract:

Ve svém díle jsem se zabývala archaickým a klasickým Řeckem a jeho kulturním odkazem. Věnovala jsem se zejména dennímu životu obyčejných lidí. Sledovala jsem jejich možnosti jak politického života, tak soukromého. Ve svém díle popisuji rozlišnosti mezi různými třídními skupinami, ale i mezi muži a ženami. Věnuji se uspořádání města i soukromých domů. Za důležitý považuji i vývoj člověka od narození, přes svatbu až po smrt. Zabývám se možnostmi pracovního uplatnění ve sféře agrární, řemeslné i obchodní. Samozřejmě jsem zařadila do své práce i společenský život jako je divadlo, sportovní hry nebo odívání v antickém Řecku. V neposlední řadě jsem uvedla i náboženství z pohledu svátků během roku, obětí a věštění.

Abstract:

In this work I dealt with the archaic and classical Greece, and its cultural legacy. I was particularly interested in daily lives of ordinary people. I followed their opportunities in both political and private life. In my work I described the differences between the different social classes, as well as between men and women. I looked at the arrangement of the city and its private houses. I considered important the human evolution from birth through marriage to death, too. I dealt with job opportunities in the agriculture, handicrafts and the trade. Of course, I included to this work also the social life ? as theatre, sports or clothing ? in ancient Greece. And last but not least I showed religion from the perspective of public holidays during the course of the year, offerings and fortune-telling. I focused on classifying and collecting the information about life in archaic and classical Greece. I tried to follow logically - from basic information to detailed pages of human life.
