Integration of financial markets in the European Union

Abstract:

Cílem mé bakalářské práce s názvem ?Integrace finančních trhů v Evropské unii? je zhodnotit současný stupeň integrace finančních trhů v Evropské unii a následně vyhodnotit přínosy a možná negativa vstupu České republiky do Evropské unie. Nejprve práce zachycuje systém finančních trhů, jejich charakteristiku a vývoj jejich integrace v návaznosti na vývoj evropského integračního procesu. V další části práce pak řeším, jakým způsobem zasáhla dluhová krize do procesu integrace finančních trhů v Evropské unii včetně snah o vytvoření jednotného evropského finančního trhu. Zároveň posuzuji, zda vstup České republiky do Evropské unie byl a nadále je prospěšný pro vývoj českého finančního trhu. Závěr své práce věnuji současnému stupni integrace finančních trhů v Evropské unii a pokusím se nastínit, jakým směrem se finanční integrace může dále vyvíjet.

Abstract:

The goal of my bachelor's thesis named Integration of financial markets in the European Union is to evaluate the current level of financial markets integration in the European Union and also contributions and possible downsides of the Czech Republic joining the European Union. First of all, the thesis describes the system of financial markets, their characteristics and development of their integration in continuity of development of the European integration process. The following part concerns the way debt crisis influenced the process of financial markets integration including the attempts at creating united European financial market. I also considered whether the Czech Republic joining the European Union is beneficial for development of the Czech financial market. In the end, the thesis is devoted to the current level of financial markets integration in the European Union and tries to imply the possible way of future financial integration development.
