This work concerns an unusual literary style of a contemporary French writer Annie Ernaux, called "écriture plate". This genre is very difficult to categorize. In this paper we are trying to first define the style and then also analyze it in the author's three key works: La Place, Une Femme and La Honte. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá neobvyklým literárním stylem Annie Ernaux, současné francouzské spisovatelky, který se nazývá "écriture plate" a je žánrově velmi těžko zařaditelný. V průběhu práce se pokoušíme tento styl nejprve definovat a poté také analyzovat ve třech stěžejních autorčiných dílech: La Place, Une Femme a La Honte.
