This diploma thesis deals with immigration to Finland and with so called „maahanmuuttajakirjallisuus“, i.e. literature written by immigrant authors. Táto diplomová práca sa zaoberá prisťahovalectvom do Fínska a tzv. „maahanmuuttajakirjallisuus“, teda literatúrou, ktorá je písaná prisťahovalcami. Cieľom práce je zachytiť fenomén takejto literatúry v kontexte prisťahovalectva a multikultúry a na príkladoch ukázať jej prijatie čitateľmi a kritikou.
