Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je poskytnout hlubší pohled do historie třicátých let Spojených Států. Práce se zaměřuje zejména na popis změn ve společnost, které nastaly po krachu na americké burze v roce 1929. Celá práce je rozdělena do čtyř hlavních částí. První část se vztahuje k době dvacátých let. Druhá část poskytuje čtenáři informace o samotném krachu na americké burze a jeho příčinách. Třetí část popisuje postoj Herberta Hoovera a F.D. Roosevelta k Velké hospodářské krizi. Poslední, čtvrtá část se týká společnosti a jejich změn ve třicátých letech.

Abstract:

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to provide an insight into times of 1930’s America. It aims on description of the social changes after the Wall Street Crash in 1929. The bachelor thesis is divided into four main parts. The very first part relates to times of 1920’s America. The second part gives the reader basic information about the Stock Market Crash and its causes. Third part describes Herbert Hoover’s and F.D. Roosevelt’s attitude to the Great Depression. The last, fourth part refers to society and its changes in 1930s.
